In this 3ds Max and especially 3ds max 2013 mental ray materials and shaders tutorial i am covering the basics necessary for achieving minimal photorealistic results. I am covering four basic shaders necessary to texture a car. Notably Mental Ray Arch and Design material and also Autodesk materials that comes default with 3ds max for car paint and chrome metal finishes. You don´t have to have any third party. A lot of things in this tutorial may seem too easy to be true but that’s really the way it is.
